When I see the colors green and red, I immediately think of Christmas.  Christmas is the greatest time of the year.  I know for me, I am just really happy and joyful during the holiday season.  People associate red and green with Christmas because they are Christmas colors.  Seeing these colors puts me in a mood that spreads happiness and love around to everyone.  I wanted to portray that same feeling with my brother in the photo.

For my photo, I wanted to capture the idea of someone being very happy and joyful with Christmas lights.  Christmas lights are just a staple of the holiday.  Christmas is known for their lights, trees, and decorations.  Even though the lights are only red, I had green mantle decorations to add a pop of green.  The decorations also had little red ornaments on it as well.  I had my brother wrapped in the lights to seem like he is being taken over by Christmas and the mood that it brings.  I had my brother laugh to add the sense of "joy" to the photo.
