Why? Why is there so much hate and anger in this world? This past couple of years have been mostly about hate and everything negative and bad that is going on in our lives.  All of the sexual assault stories have been really catching my attention in the last couple of months.  The girls’ bravery has really stood out to me.  Telling stories like that and opening up takes a lot of courage and strength.  The #MeToo doesn’t just stand for sexual assault.  It also means that you are with that person and you have gone through the same that that person is going through.  #MeToo can apply to being sad, lonely, hurt, etc.  

In my photo, I captured the idea of showing that people are here to support one another with everything that is going on lately.  The picture is in black and white because the message is clear.  I made sure to focus on the girl’s eyes to show that she is really focusing on “you” and how she is supporting “you”.
