A quote that really caught my attention by George Martin is “A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, said Jojen. The man who never reads lives only one.” Reading is such a powerful tool that people take for granted.  People can be indulged in a fantasy world that gives people hopes and dreams.  A good book can cure anything.  I know for me, I try to read at least once a day.  Being fascinated in a story can really help me distract myself from the world that I am in sometimes.  I will always love the idea of reading a what in brings into people’s lives.

My idea for fascination is to show how one can be fascinated in a book and completely lose their sense of what’s around them.  In my photo, my sister is reading a book in the middle of the road.  I had her sit in the road and pretend like she is really into the book and the story itself.  I captured the idea of not knowing where you are when you read by having her sit in the road.  She could have gotten hit by a car, but she wouldn't have know that because of the book. My first idea for the word fascination was the fascination of love, but for some reason I could not figure out what the picture should look like with my idea, so I went with the idea about the fascination of reading.

Overall, I really like the lighting in the picture.  The way I edited it makes the trees stand out in the background because of the bright colors of the leaves.
