Getting your driver’s license can be very stressful.  It can be stressful for the driver, for the parents, and for the people on the road.  It takes a lot of trust for parents to give their child their first car keys.  My mom once said, “Although I trust you, I don’t always trust other people on the road.”  These words really stuck with me.  Having your license and getting car keys requires a ton of responsibility and maturity.  Trust is the key to many important relationships.  We can’t mess it up, or the trust will be lost.

For my picture, I captured the idea of trust by showing a parent passing down car keys to their child.  I wanted to show how parents trust their kids to make smart decisions on the road and the responsibility that comes with it.

When taking my photo, I made the background of a car to show the keys in a realistic setting.  I made sure to take the photo from different angles to determine which angles looked the best.
